DDC - SELF DIRECTED CHORUS

The Dazzling Diamonds Chorus is a self-directed ensemble, supported by a dedicated team of women committed to building upon the strong foundation of our chorus.

In March 2025, Pam Pelletier stepped up to lead us to competition at the Region 25 Sweet Adelines International Contest. With her guidance and dedication, we proudly took the stage under her directing as Competition Director, Pam Pelletier!

Interim Director - 2023

Glenda Rucker

Glenda’s love of music and her deep admiration for our late director, Suzanne Graham, shone through in every way. She wholeheartedly embraced the Dazzling Diamonds, adopting us as a sister chorus to her beloved Show Me Harmony Chorus.

In 2023, Glenda led the Dazzling Diamonds to competition, ensuring we met the requirements to fulfill our charter and remain a Sweet Adelines chorus. Her dedication, passion, and unwavering support made an immeasurable impact on us all.

Her sudden and unexpected passing in 2024 leaves a profound void, but her legacy will forever live on in the hearts of those she touched.

Rest in peace, Glenda—you are truly a diamond.

FOUNDING MUSICAL DIRECTOR
SUZANNE MACHELLE GRAHAM (1964-2021

A native of Northwest Arkansas, Suzanne Graham, leads our Dazzling Diamonds Chorus (DDC).  Her enthusiam for music shows each and every week at our rehearsals and various events.

Even though Suzanne has been a part of music -- and music a part of her --all of her life, she still strives to keep music education at the forefront.

That's why it was so important for her to reach her goal of Certified Director.   She earned her SAI Director's Certification and was presented the official pin at the 2014 Region 25 RAMM meeting in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

We are very honored to share that our Director, Suzanne, earned the prestigious "500 Director" in March 2019!

On a personal note, Suzanne is married to her high school sweetheart, Wade.  They have been married for 28 years. Suzanne and Wade have a passion for shooting sporting clays and enjoy traveling all of the United States competing.

What does Wade and Suzanne consider their greatest accomplishment?  Their twin daugthers - Amy & Mandy.  They are truly miracles from God!  Both girls are graduates of the University of Arkansas with their teaching degrees.  Suzanne, Amy, & Mandy sing together in their church; while Amy is now a member of Dazzling Diamonds Chorus, making Suzanne one very proud Mom!  Suzanne and Amy are also singing together in the quartet Marvelous!  Look for them on the competition stage in March!!!

To obtain her goals, and to be there to enrich DDC, Suzanne has experienced the following:

  • Began in Sweet Adelines in 1989.
  • July 2013 - attended "Side by Side International Directors Training" in Orange County, California.
  • July 2013 - Received directors coaching from Robin Curtis and Glenda Rucker

  • She came to DDC in 2013 with 5 years Sweet Adeline directing experience and continues to lead the way today!!!
